My Conservative Mom Won't Let Me Date Until I've Graduated Fom College?

I don't want to be disrespectful towards my mom but sometimes she really gets on my last nerve. Her mind is stuck somewhere in the 1900s when she was born, and she has this crazy idea that I absolutely CANNOT date anyone until I've graduated from college. And I can't go on dates with him alone... there has to be someone there to 'supervise' or I would have to just hang out with him with a group of friends. Is she right in telling me what to do?
