Is my Droid's camera broken?

So, about two(2) weeks ago, my mom let me have her old Droid. It was working fine, nothing wrong with it at all, but for some reason, I can't take pictures anymore. Whenever I try taking a picture, it shows that I took it, but when I check my gallery, it won't show the picture at all. I use the auto flash and I haven't damaged my Droid, so I'm not sure what I should do. I can't return it or anything because I'm at my dad's house for June.
