Accelarators do not work on my i.e.8.o.s is xp windows.?

My operating system is windows xp.My i.e.8 explorer page gallery does not open by my browser.None of the accelarators previously loaded do not work anymore.Also unable to log on to yahoo mail.Kindly suggest a suitable solution.
