So I was called a snob?

Okay, so I have designer clothes, and I guess that marks me as a snob. is this true? I asked all my friends, and all my co-workers, fellow models, and photographers if I was. But they all said no. Even the people that hate me! The group of girls that called me a snob barely knew me. The people that do know me said I was a really sweet down to earth girl. So just because I own designer labels such as Marc Jacobs and all me purses are purses like Valentino, and I have salon shoes fom Nordstoms, that means I am a snob?
