Triple monitor eyefinity vs i7 990X?

Um, what? You can't compare a processor with a video card, they do different things. If what you're trying to ask is if you had to choose between the two, which would it be, I'd say go for the video card and monitor for sure. While the i7 990x is still the king of all processors, it is so by a very small margin. The i7 2600k costs 1/3 the price and ties or beats the 990x in nearly every benchmark. If what you want to do is extreme video rendering and such, that's the only thing you'd need the 990x for. Otherwise, its a massive ripoff for price/performance.
