Slow downloads in Linux Mint 10 "Julia"?

Web browsing is speedy, the 6mb like it should be. I'm on wireless at&t DSL. It works fine in Windows, 600 kB/s, but in linux it wont go above 80 kB/s. Like i said, Web Browsing is speedy as normal. I also can play WoW with the normal ping i would usually have.
