How can I make money off a website?

Hi, I am an artist and I want to start my own art website and possibly make a living off it, but I got no idea how making money from websites or the net works I heard there many different ways but I need some recommendations, I wont sell art on the site, it will mainly be a gallery and will also have some tutorials on how to create art. Can you guys please clue me in?
